Unless you are willing to spend a LOT of hours learning the craft of 3D printing, as well as the cost of a decent printer, then I would recommend that you get your project done by someone who has the experience. I went through the same thought process as you…only to decide it was cheaper and faster to work with one of the 3-D hub members!
