Ok, so i’m new to this but have a simple question if I can phrase this properly. I’m bringing in a ultra large 3D printer. What I do everyday, is digital printing on vinyls etc. I’m curious If there is a program out there that might be able to take a full color 3D stl file and "unwrap it if you will to print flat with the geometries being correct to then wrap that flat print around the 3D printed file that matches? Make sense? Kind of like when you take the world and they flatten it out so if you re wrapped it into a circle, it would match the globe? Can anyone help?
Please let me know,
Scott
I would look into how a wrap is set up for a car or something like that. I never did wraps when I was into vinyl printing/cutting but did look at the software.
A little effort on google will get results.

Maybe also a call to Fellers or a similar place may be able to give an idea.
