Total newb here. I have a broken 4cm diameter disc with a 2cm center hole and 3 screw holes that I need to have replicated. Does anyone replicate small replacement parts like this? It’s a critical part for my father’s desk. It would need to be fabricated in two halves that could be joined, as it is a collar for a fixed piece.
How do I start to find someone to help?

Hi
I use 3dHubs to get my designs printed.
The best way to start is to go to the 3D Hubs home page and click on “Browse Local Printers”
You will see a list of hubs and maybe you will find a hub pretty close to where you live.
The way you described the needed part was very good. It looks like it would be a pretty simple project.
The person printing the part will need accurate measurement information.
What I do for measurement info for something like this is I scan the flat part on a copy machine type scanner with something
placed along side that I know accurate dimension of. I save the copy machine scan as a tif file and use that to design the
3d printer model.
Cost will vary depending on how complicated your project actually is. Most of the cost will be in having someone design the model for you.
If you can design the model, the cost for a flat washer shape with mounting holes will not be very expensive.
Since I’m getting pretty long winded here, I’ll stop
I hope my comments help you in some manner.
Hi Annette! I can design that real quick for you! Click on my name shown below and click on Contact Hub and provide me with a few more details. I’m also in the SF community, so shipping should be fast and cheap.

Hi, I’d offer to help but just got a design commission through that’ll keep me busy. Markyoe’s offer is good. If possible supply images and as many dimensions as you can.

Hi Annette! My company has thousands of hours of 3D modeling and 3D printing experience under our belt! We’d be happy to print and ship you this order expedited as well so it arrives ASAP. Just click on my name, and then click Contact Hub to provide me with some additional details such as the distance between the center of the disk and small holes, the diameter of the small holes, and how they are arranged on the disk. A picture would be great as well. And we can have it designed, printed and on its way by the end of the day.
Hi Annette! Were you able to get the piece designed and printed?
