HI, so board died on my ctc printer but as it was still under warranty they graciously sent me out an amega 2560 with sailfish 7.7 pre installed! (great right?) but as this is the first time ive ever swapped a board out on my ctc can anyone do me a quick tutorial video on how this is done as i currently have the 1280 board and assume it wont just be a case of matching up the slots?

Electrically it should be identical, don’t worry that it’s got a 2560 on it.

Always the the way to go is one connector at a time. Then you won’t get mixed up.

Always a a good idea to snap some

photos of all the wires and connections before you start too.

thanks, hope so, also need info on fitting the bits and set up for auto leveling as eager to do it but it looks complicated to do
