Hey all. I currently have the original dremel 3d printer, but I’m looking to upgrade. I would like heated fairly large build plate and height. It needs to be able to take multiple materials, plants, abs, softplants etc. Throw the suggestions at me! Thanks.

@Caryn_Coblio_Ha, you can check out our 2017 3D Printer Guide to read about the most reviewed 3D printers on our platform by owners themselves. You can also go through our Printer Index to compare printers by price and reviews.

Ones I like, have and think are worth a look are the QIDI’s, Flashforege Creator Pro and the Original Prusa MK2. They would meat your needs to varying degrees.

I think we need a little more information about what you’re looking for. You might want to start here: What printer is right for you?

What do you want it to do for you and what’s your price range? Are you looking for a kit or not? You will get almost as many recommendations as there are people answering.

I’ve been looking at the original prusa mk2. You like the flashforge? Does it have 2 extruder heads, is it hard to work with 2 heads? I’ve never done that before

The Flashforge Creator Pro and the QIDI Tech-1 are both good and reliable machines. They are dual extruder machines. I rarely do dual extrusion prints but I like using one extruder for PLA only and the other for ABS and other things.

For price and support I have found that the Original Prusa MK2 is suited for most 3d printing applications, and I am considering the purchase of a second one after I built the kit and my first print was underway within minutes of complete calibration. Simply a superb printer! I have the experience of using about half a dozen different printers and it is by far the best I have used, that is currently available.

Best of luck!
