Hello
I put too much pressure on the 6-pin connector that attaches to the heating bed but its fell off.
I’ve attached a photo of the part in question
- Does anyone know the part name
- Where can I buy it?
- I have to solder it back on, right?
Can that one be soldered back on? The real problem may be if it ripped the traces off the board.
I would google an electronics store to see about the part but I think the part is ok. It may be reasonable to replace the heater. I had one go bad on me and it was $30 for the part and fast shipping from China from the printer maker. Then you could try to fix it also for a spare but be careful with it. If not repaired right it could be a fire hazard.

Hi
Thanks for the reply
The hot beds don’t come with this thing attached, and the closer I look I notice the 5 pins all have this brown metal on the underside of it . Perhaps thats what was soldered on? It’s weird because I see what looks like glue on the board as well so at first I thought it was glued on
The brown stuff is the trace from the board. It’s pretty much toast. You’ll need to get a new heater board.
What is the printer?

Weird I thought I put this in the proper forums , it’s a JGAURORA printer
Thanks for the reply, the fact that brown stuff was part of the board helped make it clearer what needs to be replaced.
I will set up an order for this board, and have already set up an order for the pins. I hope the voltage thing they mention on it won’t be a problem as I don’t know too much about that
