Hey @67Andyc, welcome! You can check out ratings and reviews for the Duplicator i3 on our printer page here: FDM 3D Printing Service | Instant Quotes, Online Ordering | Hubs. It also has links to purchase the 3D printer. Hope it helps and happy buying!

where you live?

Hi Andy, if you’re in the UK, Technology Outlet has been really good for me, I got my i3 and D6 from them. Good prices and helpful staff.

Hi Andy, I bought mine in Belgium since I live in the Netherlands. It roughly costed 430 euros with shipping included. They even added 1kg PLA

Hi Andy, if you live in uk then I can make you one or if you want the reassurance of a big company, then I would go technology outlet route.

In the US buy from wanhaousa.com ! They send free replacement parts and such if they break or even upgrades no cost to you.

Hi . I live in UK nottingham. If you was to build me one , how much for ? and would it be better or same quality as the wanhao duplicator ? Rather go with quite than speed . I don’t expect too much for my price range.

Thanks to all replies . I’m in the UK nottingham . Just looking into one being built for me . If not then I’ll go to the technology outlet as suggested. Thanks again Andy .

Ultimate 3D printing store has great bundles on the i3

If you’re interested in the i3 plus model Wanhao sells, you can buy it there for the same price and get a free all metal hotend upgrade and borosilicate glass. You also keep that 1 year warranty that Wanhao sells on their site. There are other bundles on this site that I wish I could have seen when I bought my i3 v2, so I recommend you check them out.

This is entirely possible, I will guarantee that I will better the dup i3 V2 Wanhao features just post me quote from wherever your looking at buying, plus I will add printable mods that I know work as I have them myself. I am currently producing clips for European diving client and have to run 24/7 25 parts a prog. You can imagine that this takes accuracy of printer settings both manually and digitally. I build the enclosures myself and sit next to the printer, while designing so I can testify to its moderate noise level. Please see Blue Elephant edit for a bit more background but email me at grandi@acistech3d.uk for more info. I am constantly in the process of testing new filament and so have decided to build my own dedicated machines. If you will allow me I would like to make yours and hopefully my experience will show in the product. turn around time about a month once deposit received as some sensors and drives can only economically buy from china. I guarantee 3 day shipping to you and if possible a free install to make sure you are satisfied. I do want to improve 3d printing and give back 30 years in CNC and 3D. Cheers Steve

I would recommending getting any wanhao printer directly from their website: http://www.wanhaousa.com. It is where I got my Di3 (V2.1). I had an excellent experience with them and I think it would be the safest option. After having trouble buying a good 3d printer myself, ordering from there website was a very smooth transaction. Do not be afraid to email them (the email is on the website), and you can even ask them this question. They are very helpful and I highly recommend you thoroughly check to make sure you are not buying from a reseller. Also, the Wanhao website (and I think Amazon does this to) offers a full 1 year warranty, covering replacement parts and possibly the whole machine, or you ship it to them and they will inspect/repair at no cost.

I am in the US, so this process may be different for you than it was for me.

I would highly recommend purchasing your printer from the wanhao usa website. http://wanhaousa.com/. I purchased my wanhao Duplicator i3 v2.1 and Plus from that website and have nothing but as excellent experience. Also, I highly recommend spending the extra $100 for the I3 Plus model. I have experienced slightly better reliability and much more ease of use with the Plus model.

Prusa i3.

under $1000.

very simple, very accurate .

once you master 3D printing with it, you will understand the flaws and shortcomings of ALL the other desktop 3d printers out there.

Formfutura filament, it will not fail.
