Is it possible to print items with multiple colors on the flashforge finder.I understand that I will have to pause the print but if I go out of the print screen im not sure if the print will cancel or not

Ok, I am not using a finder but one thing I play with is to clip/cut the filament while it is printing and then follow it in with a new color. Takes a little practice but works ok.

Pause the print and there should be a button in the bottom right corner that lets you unload and reload filament.

Hi!

Yes it is possible. You can pause the print at selectable heights - these have to be set in the Flashprint software.

The printer stops at this heights and then you have access to the TOOLS menu where you can unload the old filament and load a new filament, then you can continue printing. I tested the last few days and improved the settings until I got useable results. See my different improvements here:

The font size is 6mm (about 1/4 inch).

The critical points are: When pausing the printing bed moves downwards leaving quite a big filement drop on the last location.

OK you can remove this filement drop by removing the printing bed and cut off this filament - but I find this a bit disturbing.

Maybe they forgot the retraction at the last location?

After filement change there is no initial “pre extrusion” so that a constant filement output is guranteed. Sometimes it helps to place a little objects beside the main object - if you are in luck than this little object will be printed first after continuation so that the nozzle works fine when the extrusion will be continued on the main object.
