Hey Guys, I have designed a basic fidget spinner. I was wondering if it is possible to print half of the spinner one color and then the other half another color. I have simplify 3D so I was wondering if it is possible to have 2 print processes. One process would go to layer 50 with one color and another process would finish the print with another color. Is this possible or something like it? Thanks.
You should be able to. Search the S3D site for multiple processes and see how to work them. Probably google for it also.
You could pause the print, either manually or via a gcode command embedded in the code, and swap the filament.
