I have just replaced the extruder and hotend on my mp select mini with the mk8 (not Mario cart 8). I took my printer apart (finding that the back panel was most convenient for me) and I took of the bottom to access the motherboard of the printer. I marked the connections with which was which with some masking tape and then I plugged the new wires into the appropriate slots. However when I went to the temperature readings it claimed that my printer’s hotend was 352 degrees. through a series of cautionary tests I finally realized that I could just even touch the hotend if I wanted to. the hotend is not hot at all. I was hopeful that somehow the printer was just off by 330 degrees or something, I was just making stuff up, but the hotend would not heat up even when I set it to preheat. What in the world should I do? I understand that this problem has probably been covered but I would like personal help with this. Thanks guys.
