Did anyone back The Palette on Kickstarter? If you don’t know what one is, check here https://www.mosaicmanufacturing.com/
Since they have started to ship, and from what I see, they work pretty well, does anyone at 3dHubs have any idea how I could list a single extruder printer that is now capable of multi-color printing using a Palette?

Hi @imagine3dps,
That’s a great news! I’d say that we can list the printer as any other FDM machines with the name of “Palette (multicolour)”. May it be a good solution?
If yes, can you fill our form to list a new printer?
Let me know if you have any alternative idea for the name!

@Federico3 - the form asks for build volume. The Palette can be used with any FDM printer so the build volume is not really relevant. If I have mine hooked to my MB Rep2 and someone else has it hooked to a Gigabot, our build volumes are way different!
Is there no way I can list a REP2 with it’s build volume already defined and specify that it can print multicolor?

This is not a new printer. This is an addon to existing printers that allows for multicolor prints.
I have seen output from this printer in pictures. It is very clever. Be prepared to have prints take a very long time, and use a lot of filament, but the results are impressive.
It purges each color change utilizing a lot of material, until it is sure the nozzle is purged of the old color, then prints the new color, then purges again.
But it is extremely accurate in color changes.

Thanks for your feedback and I apologise for the inconvenience, I’ve gone through the article quite quickly and I didn’t notice that it wasn’t a printer.
Since it’s not a printer and since it can be used with different existing machines, I’d say that the best option is to specify on your Hub description that you can print with different colours.
Let me know if it can work.

That’s probably the way I will go. I know the technology changes so rapidly, it’s almost impossible for you guys to keep adding tweaks to the website to cover all the different situations! I’ll just have to figure out how to explain exactly what I’m offering and how to price it. And add some multicolor print pics!
Thanks!
Hello
is there any news on this multicolor option.
I also have a palette and would like to offer prints on 3dhubs.
