Just received the monoprice Maker Select Plus 3D printer. I can’t seem to get the Extruder to preheat and the sensor on the x-axis is not responding. Not sure if it is something that I am missing during set up. Any suggestions would be great.
The Mini won’t start to heat the hot end until the bed is at temperature.
Hello,
Not to sound offensive but, did you plug in all the cords. I know I forgot to plug in the cord to the x motor, extruder motor. As for the heating, you will have to wait for the bed to heat up before the extruder. If you did these already, let me know. I just remember thinking everything was plugged in. Also dont forget to plug in endstops.

Thanks- last night double checked all the wires and did find one that was not connected. Everything works great now and even printed my first item! Thanks!
Sounds Great,

I just set Mine up last night and was having the same issue. User manual & instructions skip the step to plug that all into the base. Follot the ribbon strip around & is should be tucked under the right side motor. The plug it into the long black port just behind where the base meets the top.
Hope this helps & Happy Printing!
