I have made a lot of successful prints but I have been using the recommended setting on cura. But If I wanted to use a skirt or raft instead of brim I would need to use the custom setting. I was looking through some of the other settings and noticed that the layer height was set to 0.1mm. Is that the recommended height aswell?
1. What settings did you find to make the best prints for the Monoprice Maker Select V2 (I only use PLA)?
2. Would you recommend skirt, brim, or raft if I have good bed adhesion?

I stick with a brim unless there’s a problem with lifting from the bed. If so, I use a raft.

Yeah, I do have a tough time taking stuff off the bed, but it always does come off. I can try both and see which is better. Any ideas on the cura settings?
Not for that model, I have a Monoprice Mini Select. You might check out the Mini’s Facebook group. A lot of members also have your model. I think if you search ‘Monoprice Mini Select’ you should find it. (Not certain we’re allowed to post links to outside websites)

Ok ill try, also just another quick question, do u use cura 2.4.0? If so, does it crash ur file explorer like 100% of the time it is running?
I’m using (had to check) 2.3.1 on a Mac. No problems.
