Hello 3D Hubs,

Wondering if anyone might know if there is a maximum geode file size beyond which a MP IIIP printer will not print.

Many thanks

I doubt you would be able to hit a size limit especially with a binary file. If the printer can accept and read the SD card then it should be able to print. The file is sent/read as it prints so the limiter is the SD card and the reader I would think.

If you are talking about the maximum size a gcode file can be on the SD card, it’s somewhere under 2Gb, as that’s the max the file system it uses can handle. If you are talking about gcode sent to it from (say) Octoprint or Cura, that’s delivered a line at a time, so there is no limit.
