I purchased a Monoprice Maker Ultimate and had trouble loading the filament on receipt due to Heater errors and and Temp Sensor errors. I finally got it loaded and printing “tricking” it with octoprint while waiting a week for customer service to get back to me. I can presume it is a firmware issue as I have watched the temperature control and the PID is way out of wack. The print quality is great, but service and support sucks! I am thinking I made a mistake and should have paid the extra money on a brand that cares for their customers and provides them with service and support. They are processing my return as “shipping damage” and haven’t even asked what is wrong. For all they know I could have hooked it up wrong!
