Hi everyone,

I have noticed that there are many events, meetups and workshops from across the world and each for different purposes. These are great for leaning new tips and trick, connecting with others who have 3D printers and are a brilliant source of inspiration. The only problem is that these events go on across the globe in cities, like one in Paris a few days ago and one coming up in San Diego, but these are simply too far to travel from the UK.

The problem is that the closest place to me is probably London, which is a bit of a trek from the North West of England. Personally I think it is a waste of time travelling a fair distance just to spend and hour or two, then travel back. I was wondering if there is anyway of finding out if there are events closer to my area, which would be worth my time. I wouldn’t mind travelling if there are events which go on for the day, just at least a few hours for it to be worth while.

Does anyone know of anywhere close by that does 3D printing events?

Are there any 3D hub communities that I could join?

Maybe a site I could join to find out about such events?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

Hi I did find this page, but I was wondering if there was any way of finding events in my local area.

Thank you for the response, but currently I am busy doing work and have little experience with meet ups. However I would probably consider setting something up in the future if I found out a bit about setting up events. Personally I believe I would have to go to a few first to get an idea of the environment.
