Hi guys, I am just wondering if anyone has an idea of the largest possible print dimensions available through this hub. I am looking to print a part which wont require a massive amount of material as it is narrow but is quite long, around 670mm. Any info would be great

There are printers that can print parts that measure 1x1x1 meter so you should find a hub that can print your file. However such exotic requirements narrow the variety of hubs to choose from and you might have to stick to a higher priced print because no cheaper hub can print your model. Try to split the model in sections (if needed you could implement strengthening elements like internal steel rods), then you have more hubs to choose from and maybe you’ll even find the perfect hub local to you!

Can you upload the file? We might have the capability…

Hi,

That’s quite long.

Max print size for most common printers is around 200 x 200mm.

It’s going to be tricky to get such long size printed, not many printers have that printing size, for example my printer even with the bed upgrade wouldn’t do much that 300mm in one axis.

Cheers

hi,

If you want print model in one go is not many of the printers can do this.

I am printing at the moment model of chimney stack which is 80mm diam. and 2000mm tall.

but I am putting model from parts, glue and post process whole model and then paint.
