A job on my 3D to-do list is to print some sink plugs. Over the years a number of originals around the house have been lost and replaced with “near enough” plugs from a hardware shop. Those store-bought replacement plugs never fit exactly and the water slowly drains away.

My question relates to filament material.

In my experience original plugs are all made of rubber, so they have a very slight amount of give in them. I believe this would be far preferable to a hard object.

Thoughts? Comments?

Go with Ninjaflex, maybe with an ABS core to get enough rigidity and lower cost. Cheers, Marius Breuer
