The Zmorph gives you a ton of freedom to choose settings and to play around with different parts of the machine. This large freedom also means it takes some time getting used to it but with some help of the Zmorph team we were able to get it perfectly calibrated and ready to print us some fresh Marvins.

We decided to open the lid of the Zmorph at the end in order to take a nice picture. This was a bit stupid though as this caused Marvin to let go of the platform which explains the damaged keyring. Other than that the print is super smooth:

What I personally like about the Zmorph is that it is very open so you have a good view of all the different parts. Also the Voxelizer software allows you to edit a lot of settings in a very user friendly way. Because it can print very precise it is important to calibrate the Zmorph just right. My colleague Daan has written a great post on this. In the beginning of the week this was a problem as I had some trouble getting this right. Luckily there are quite some printing experts at the office here so after our product designer Alan had a look at it and re-calibrated the Z-axis the awesome prints kept rolling out today.
