Making a Kossel printer bigger in the X & Y axis

I have a Cubic Kossel and want to increase the print area from its current 135mm (Should be 180mm but not very well designed by Cubic) to 250mm.

Do I just need to buy some OpenBeam and move the z beam further out and make longer support arms for the print head?

You will also probably need to edit the software limit. If any.

Thanks for the reply. I have worked out how to alter the limits in the firmware. If all goes well I plan on building another with a 1.5m bed with a Z height of 2m, and a massive 5mm nozzle.
