Has anyone run into issue with customers puchasing prints that only supply .x3g files? Specifically, I am trying to print a part from the “Cloud Collection”. The part does not come with a .stl file, forcing it to only be printed on a Makerbot. It would be really unfortunate to see the site only start catering to the Hubs with certain printers, essentially pushing people with RepRaps and other lesser known printers out of the market.

I’ve emailed support about this issue and so far have not receieved any reply.

Hey @groutw we can help you out with that I’ve notified out Hub Support team and we’ll see if we can send you the .STL file. @Robin3D. I know that for the Cloud Collection the x3g file was mainly a IP issue, in which we didn’t want to share the source design file, but we’ll see what we can do.

i think you can get the makerware soft where you open the file and than export to g code
