I’m wondering if anyone has an idea of where to get some replacement parts for a Replicator (1st Gen). Since this machine is no longer supported by MakerBot Industries, I’m having a difficult time getting parts for my machine through them.
Right now, I’m looking for the BotStep17 stepper drivers. I just bought some A4988 drivers and had to de-solder/re-solder the pins to make it compatible, but I really just want to find cheaper versions of the BotStep modules (cheaper than $25 per unit).

I would recommend looking at the wanhao USA website. The duplicator 4 and 4x are clones of the replicator 1. So you might find them there. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much! That’s exactly what I was looking for. I’ll need to double check the pinout on the stepper drivers, but it looks like they should work perfectly based on their images.
