Just got a new Replikator + and upgraded from Makerbot Desktop to Makerbot Print, and there doesn’t seem to be a “Library” menu option. I’m all logged into my account, but where’s all my stuff??

They just took it out…

Ya, They phased out that particular connection. Never really used it myself, but I can see if you had a system in place, its absence could be quite annoying.

I tend to use my folders on my computer for downloading files and dragging them onto the build plate. Seems more open.

You can adjust the settings in Makerbot print again now, Not as deep as before, but a huge improvement over their “bare bones” approach. If I need something really specific, I just use simplify3d

Be aware that most settings in Makerbot desktop did not change the slicing anyway. Lots of values to tweak but no effect on output. Only basic settings like infill and layer height worked. Speed and diameter setting were happily ignored. Happened sometime when profiles became ‘printer specific’ in maybe around v 3.6. Also now monitoring outside LAN is broken. Used to be a key feature of MB over competitors…
