Hi all,

I have a Maker Select Plus. I’m upgrading the board from the manufacturer issued to a kfb 3.0. I’m pretty comfortable with the upgrade process and will be able to figure out the firmware from the guides available online etc.

The only question I have is around the power. At the moment, the V+ and V- is split over two cables with 12v down each, from what I understand.

The board I’ve ordered only has one V+ and V-, so I need to change the cable from the power supply to board from two for each to one for each.

My question is:

  • What gauge cable should I be going for to handle the full 24v safely?
  • Temperature wise, do you have any recommendations for a brand? I’m in the UK if it makes a difference.

And if it helps, this is the power supply in the printer:

I haven’t really been able to find much/figure it out from online, and I’d rather be safe than sorry when it comes to the power.

Cheers
