My lulzbot mini (using cura) will not auto level or clean, then it begins to print about 4mm off the bed. I read online you have to download a print profile if you use expert settings but i have not done that for the last year and had no problems. Now all of a sudden i have issues (even on “basic” print settings i have issues. Occasionally the bed will auto level and clean but then it sits on the X axis and does not begin print…No idea whats going on…
Any ideas what i can do???
Are you using the lulzbot Cura version? LulzBot | Cura
If that isnt the issue try calling tech support and see if they have any suggestions.
Also the way autoleveling works on the mini is, it heats up the nozzle, retracts filament some, cools nozzle down a tad, then wipes. Then touches the discs on each corner, if you notice the edge of bed deflecting the nozzle is still dirty. If you have newer firmware loaded it should then notice that and rewipe on the pad and try again. If that succeeds it then waits until to temperature, extrudes some filament and then starts printing

Tech was not much help.
yes, I have the newest version of cura.
It does two things:
1) It auto levels & cleans then stops on an axis to heat up then never prints
2) It never auto levels / cleans and just begins printing 4mm above the print bed
