Hi Steph, I live in Tower Hamlets (E3), London. I went to a hackspace but there was just a guy giving some basic classes and selling his 3d printer.

Yes you are right, that’s the best way of learning but with so many sensible parts made by plastic is quite scary to manipulate
Sometimes helps to learn from people who knows more
Yes, I know that place, last month I went there in the 3d printer event but it was a very small group.

Hi Iñigo,
Thank you for your answer. I wish I could be there to help you but for sure we can meet when you come to Lisbon. I would be glad to show some of my works.
Hope you can find someone near you to help you.
Best wishes,

Hey @l33kox. Why don’t you stop by at the 3D Print Show, London, the week after next. Come along to the 3DHubs stand and I’m sure you’ll find someone to give you some good advice. If I’m not there, wander over to the Sketchfab stand. I may be there and I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.
Cheers,

To get the fan to work, so long as you are sure of the wiring, try sending an M106 command. i.e, M106 S128 (this will run the fan at 50%).
If you could send a picture of the wiring to your mainboard, that would help a lot. Looking at the BCN3D+ website, the fan is there to cool the all-metal hotend, so it should be wired directly to the 12volt supply, as you want cooling on the hotend constantly, regardless of flow-rate, etc.
By ‘z-axis not moving symmetrically’ do you mean they aren’t moving by the same amount, or do you mean they are wobbling?

Hi, many thanks for the tips, I appreciate a lot. About the current status, I did some progressions and even I started to print small things but I have to stop because I have to solve these two problems.
The z-axis with problems is the one with the engine, and sometimes start to make a noise and go slower until get like stuck. I don’t know the reason, maybe no enough power or probably I did something bad. And the fan still it’s no working.
Anyways you already help me a lot and this forum motived me so much!! Tomorrow I will try the command and I will upload the photo.
Many thanks
Iñigo

Hello Iñigo,
I am a master student in Brunel University. My major is product design. I am doing the survey about the 3D printing for my dissertation. I really need your help to finish the questionnaire, it just has 9 questions that will take you few minutes.
Questionnaire:

Your feedback is very important.
