Hello,

My name is Rob Moore and I am a policy analyst with the American Jobs Project, a research group out of Berkeley, California working to create jobs roadmaps for policymakers across the country.

I’m working in Ohio for the next month, a state where one of our focuses is the 3D printing industry. I’d be very interested in meeting with 3D printers in Ohio. I was directed to this site by Robin Brockotter from the customer support staff. Are there any 3D printers in Ohio available to chat about this?

Thanks!

Are you looking for individual folks with printers or companies or people that make printers?

We are a small printing firm in northern Kentucky, but I have a connection to a 3D printing service bureau in Cincinnati. I would be happy to connect you to him.

I’d also be interested in learning more about your work and the labor trends associated with 3D printing and additive manufacturing.

I own a 3d printing company in Middletown oh. My email The3DCreationStation@yahoo.com

I’m up near Cleveland myself, it’s just me but I do quite a bit of print’s for people and always looking to get into more of the 3D Printing industry.

rob,

assuming you are in town today there is a 3d printing meetup tonight. http://www.columbusideafoundry.com/

The event starts around 7 and goes fairly late.

I’m also happy to meet / talk. Another good contact would be ethan dicks

I received this message as a part of the Cincinnati hub, but I am actually located in northern Kentucky, about 20 minutes from Cincy.

Hello, I am a 3d printer located in Ohio. I work as a freelance draftsman and urban planner and decided 3d printing would be a good product to complement the services I offer. If you would like to contact me visit my website www.gdmr.com

Hi Rob,

We are in Ohio as well, and offer rapid prototyping, consulting services to clients on 3DHubs and are also resellers of professional desktop 3D printers.

Our website: designbox3d.com

Looking forward to connecting with you.

Best regards.

That’s very interesting research! Please share some findings with us qhen you finished as well. @nikki do we have any events in the area coming up - that could be perfect for Rob

I’d still be very interested in chatting with you! Is there an email or phone number that would be good to contact you at?

Great! Is there an email or phone number I could reach you and Ethan at? I will be in Ohio starting next week, so unfortunately I could not be at the event :frowning:

I’d love to chat with you. Do you have an email or phone number that would be good to reach you at?

I’d love to speak with you. Do you have an email or phone number I can reach you at?

I’d love to speak with printer manufacturers and people who are deeply involved with the industry, but I’m open to speaking with individuals who print commercially as well.

not sure how I can message directly from the forum. email is bilsch at gmail dot com.

The google group for the columbus 3d printing meetup: Redirecting to Google Groups I’m also active on there. Other people on the group may also be interested and worthwhile.

Thank you! I applied to be a part of the group, so hopefully I’ll be able to chat with more folks soon!

Thanks everyone! If you’d be available for me to interview sometime over the next few weeks, please email me at robmoore@americanjobsproject.us

The Ohio Manufacturing Institute conducted a roadmap of Ohio’s additive manufacturing innovation processes and needs. The report is available at http://omi.osu.edu/roadmap. If you are interested in following up, my contact information is on the OMI website (Kelley, Kathryn | Ohio Manufacturing Institute)

Note: If those of you on the list would be so kind as to review the additive manufacturing roadmap, we would really like to have industry vet our results.
