Hey Guys, I want to live stream my customers 3D prints but don’t know how to do it. I don’t want to dedicate a computer to streaming it or have to have a computer right next to the camera. Is there any way I can get a camera and audrino or something that can stream to my YouTube without having a computer next to it? Any suggestions or ideas would be great! Thanks!

ip camera with mobile app

yes, I have seen that but how do I let my customers see the live stream? If I can get it to youtube the customers can see it on there.

Try to get informations about Octoprint (on raspberry pi), it has a webcam plugin. That’s how i live stream my 3d printing

and No-ip for the url redirection.

Live streaming to YouTube could be based more or less on how this guy did it. It’s for his cats (it’s the internet, so of course!) but the same principle should work. Direct Octoprint integration will probably be harder than just running Octoprint on a separate partition and running the stream on a second partition.

YouTube conveniently already has Live Stream as a functionality, so you’ll just need the server URL and the stream name/key fields.

Yes! That is what I want to do!

I have a live on YouTube using a dedicated laptop and webcam with osb studio. I also have 4-5 old Android cellphones running “ipwebcam” which is tied to “ivideon” this allows me to provide several live streams for free which are viewable by customers.
