Hello, I use cura for the prints I print on my witbox. But the top layers are not very flat. You can see the lines of it. How can I Get the top layers more smooth? I printed this item with PLA, temp 215. Layerheight 0,25 and 3 top layers. Thanks!

Have you considered smoothing the top layer post-printing? Very fine sanding, perhaps with cold water, might create the smooth surface you seek.

Hello Andrew, I have considered it, but that should not be needed. With another printer, the object is looking much better.

Good to hear!

Yes, but the problem still exist, with the Witbox printer

Lower your temperature to the lowest possible you can with the printer.

Use active cooling.

Use a smaller nozzle head.

On what printer do they come out cleaner? The type of machine might suggest some approaches.

The Craftbot gave me a better result. Could it be the slice programm?

Yes, I would say it is. The Craftbot is one heck of a machine - and they provide a slicer that is tailored for their specific hardware. Their whole system is nicely engineered and delivers well and large.
