Hi guys !

I’m allways trying to modify and improove my printer. For this I need two LM8LUU linear bearings.

Does anyone know, where to find a reliable supplier in europe (in the best case in and around germany) ?

I don’t want to spend 15€ per bearing, but neither want to throw 5 loose chinese bearings in the trash.

Even if I just need two bearings I would like to order around 4-6 to have spares the price should stay around or below 5€.

Maybe anyone even has access to those bearings, in that case I would like to know, if I could buy the bearings from YOU via 3d hubs, that would make things very quick and simple for me.

Do you have any other recommendations or tips ?

PS: @gabriela3d maybe you can find the right tags to add to this, I can’t find any fitting now.

Hmm, Marius, not really sure which tags to go for for this one either. However I’ll add in @ @ @kevin_n_anderse to see if they have some tips for this. Hope it helps!

I just hope to find a source for long linear bearings, if I can’t find any I’d have to use two shorter bearings and to my experience a tiny misalignment of those two can cause quite some noise when printing with 200mm/s.

That’s why I want one long bearing, but maybe someone can recommend a different solution, to get as quiet printing as possible.

(I’m already regulary lubricating the bearings and keep them as clean and dust free as possible)
