hi i bought a ff creator pro from someone used.

Came with a glass bed already on it.

When i try to level the bed, the tips hit the glass. The bed moves up and hits the extruders and lowers a little bit. I’ve tried lowering the bed with the adjustment screws but even at the lowest it is still hitting. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Please help!

Hi @Eric_Eskobar when a glass bed is fitted to the FF Pro there needs to be a small plastic shim inserted below the Z (vertical) axis switch. Have a look at the rear of the inside, between the two vertical rods behind the “Flashforge” metal plate (you may have to remove this to see). If there’s one there, that’s good, if not you need to print (or order) one.

If the shim is in place, it may just be how you’re doing the calibration. Start by fully tightening all three adjustment screws beneath the bed (the adjustment is a little counter-intuitive - tightening moves the bed away from the nozzle, while loosening moves it towards). Then run your calibration print and you should find there’s plenty of room. Make sure when you adjust the front screw that you also adjust the two rear ones a little less at the same time - if you don’t you may not be able to get a proper level.
