Hi,

One of my printers works best with odd layer heights. Instead of 150 microns layer height, it uses 150.2 microns.

This ensures there is an integer number of full steps per layer change.

Is it acceptable to put the layer height as 150 microns when it’s going to be very slightly different?

Hi Ross,

Benny here from 3D Hubs Customer Support. I don’t think it would be an issue setting your layer height to 150 microns, but printing in 150.2 microns. The difference is so slight, It would be unnoticeable. But thank you for checking!

I would say it is acceptable!
