My 9 year old step son in 4th grade is having a school competition for valentines day boxes. They need to have a slot accept kids valentines cards / candy, what have you, but, also needs to be creative. I was thinking of working with him to 3d print a valentines box and have him paint it. Most of the stuff I found so far, is hearts, etc. I’d like to find something that suits his interests. Possibly a hollow xbox model large enough to hold 20-30 cards inserted in the drive area, and able to be opened to remove the cards Heh. My printer can do 6inch by 6inch by 6 inch. I’m fine with glueing some pieces together after he paints them and/or decorates them. I was thinking the 3d printer would add a new creative element to his classroom, and probably make him a pretty popular kid if we find something cool he would like. Other interests include Minecraft themes, Roblox on Xbox, and monster trucks too. He really loves Pokemon stuff also.

Thoughts on how I could find a model that has some of this, searching valentines day boxes is not getting me anywhere.

@Travis_K We would be willing to help design one to whatever you want. We could do it for $0-$10. Depending on what you want we might be able to do it for free. We could even make it in pieces.

Thanks.

One idea could be to take the low poly pikachu design off thingiverse and hollow it out with a slot in the top to slide cards in
