Am considering buying a Qidi Technology Dual Extruder, like the write ups but can’t find any reference to noise, can anyone help!
I have one and while they are not super loud I can tell you that I can hear it through my Xbox headphones while gaming and talking to friends. I dont think its great for a bedroom but a basement or office it would be perfect for.
The steppers are the loudest part. I have mine in an adjoining room where both rooms are open to each other and I here it with the tv but I don’t pay any attention anymore. Personally the noise doesn’t bother me but I can easily see where it might really get to someone else.
Print speed may help with noise a bit.
Turn your hair dryer on its lowest setting then set it on the counter. Joking aside, there is a turbofan to keep the electronics cool as it is an enclosed device and sometimes it can be a bit loud. But as long as you don’t keep the printer in your bedroom you’ll be fine.
