Found a bunch of these machines and I bought them up…some chinese clinker from what I can tell.

youll see in the pictures theres a hole in the build plate…when I hit “home axis” the nozzle dips down into the hole. According to the manual (attached) im supposed to go straight from home axis, disable the steppers, and start the shim leveling ordeal…but i cant because the nozzle is down in the damned hole. thoughts??? anyone???

Also I figured this could be scrapped and put towards a custom build that ive been considering on openbuilds…is it worth it or should i go get my money back??

Presumably it has a Z end stop somewhere. Find it and see if it can be adjusted… Also the manual link doesn’t work.

@ProtoFox what machine is this, I kinda like the overall aesthetic.

I think maybe the z-leveling is supposed to be done via the nozzle tip touching the metal/screw plate at the bottom of the hole. (conductive sensors).

Also the uploaded manual doesn’t load for me.

This is maybe a bit obvious, but why not replace the bed?
