Hi, i’ve never 3D printed before and received the wanhao i3 V2 today. Just unboxing and there’s this white liquid dripping from the nozzle. Watching unboxing videos and no one else seems to have this. Is there something wrong with the components?

Hi, I recently got a wanhao i3 v2.1. Same thing here. All it is is them testing it before sending. Nothing to worry about. Ben

Hard to tell if it is coming from the seal or just filament that has curled up and stuck to the side. If it is coming from the seal between the nozzle and the heat block then you have issues. You will need to tighten the nozzle (will have to do so while hot) but be careful to not damage the temperature sensor wires.

Don’t let anyone scare you. It’s only where they test it and probably push it into the next stage quickly. You will make MUCH more mess.
