Hey all, don’t forget the last Wednesday of the month is tomorrow, so the 3D Hubs meetup for Sydney is on again!
Come along between 5 and 7:30pm to Unit 25, 566 Gardeners Rd, Alexandria - Enter from the street.
I have the new Fuel3D Scannify here which is producing some really great facial scans. so bring along anything you would like to take a 3D picture or two of, and maybe we will have time to stitch some together into full models too.

Can you use Fuel3D on a dog actually? I know my girlfriend would want that
I would love to give it a go. We tried scanning everyone in our office and found that it picked up eyebrow and facial hair … to the individual hair.

I’ve just had confirmation that the guys from Eora3D will be coming down with their awesome little scanner. It uses an iPhone (Android coming) to provide the camera and processing grunt, with a bluetooth attached stand to provide the laser line and movement. When I saw this I was blown away by the colour and model quality it achieves. This is a great locally developed product which will come to market soon.
Sounds cool! Would you be willing to show us some of the scans? And keep us updated on the release 
July meetup (Wed 29th) is going to be a problem as we will be flat out with the Bilby3D Brisbane Shop Launch
Anyone else want to host this one?
I dont know of any large enough area for a 3D hubs meetup other than your office.
