So I have a Flashforge Creator Pro. It has been working great for about a year now, but recently I’ve faced a pretty significant issue. Up until now I have been using the Makerware program due to some issues I had had with the ReplicatorG supports with some of my models. Now, with Makerware, whenever I choose to use the left extruder to print anything, the model will begin printing using the right extruder only (I was able to print with my left extruder just a week or 2 ago) … Despite making it clear that I was to be using the left for that print…
So then I download Replicatorg again to try and use for it (I also have windows 10 if that matters). I put in my file and try and choose an extruder to print with. This time, with ReplicatorG, the files are not sliced correctly and I end up with about 100 lines of code, meaning that my prints don’t even get printed. My printer just does an endless cycle off moving the extruder and setting the build plate in place as if it is about to print. I am sure that I have set it up properly and got the drivers installed as well.
I just don’t understand at this point A) Why Makerware won’t allow me to use my left extruder B) Why replicatorG is unable to print anything for me at all, with both extruders…
Any help would be amazing. Im beginning to tear my eyes out
I am not a big fan of either of those slicers myself, but Flashforge just recently extended support for their own slicer (Flashprint) to the Creator Pro. It works like a champ, it’s free and it will probably work a lot better than those slicers for you. You need version 3.9 to work with the Creator Pro, It is not yet listed on their website but here is a link to it from my Dropbox Here. Also, the drivers that come with it make Microsoft 3D Builder compatible to print with as well.
* I only have the Windows version of Flashprint.
Cheers,
Chris
I’ve had similar issues with the dreamer, apart from changing to flashpoint which I think will iron out a lot of issues you could also try to update the machines firmware. It helped with my machine doing weird stuff.
Hi Chris!
I just purchased a Creator Pro but I have trouble getting it to work (in addition to the test prints that comes with the SD card). I think Flashoint can be very useful but can not find a version that works with my printer. Your link does not work anymore, you can share it with me? Thanks!

Anders,
I’ll try to share it again here. 404 Folder Not Found - Jumpshare , this should have all versions of Flashprint.
Hope it helps,
Chris.
