I have recently used tinkercad to design a print but, when I uploaded the file to 3Dhubs, the dimensions displayed on the website were different from my dimensions. Does anyone know why that is or if it is my fault?

hey @Robin3D can you help clarify this?

I might have an explanation indeed. If the measurement unit that was used to model the object was different from what you selected on the 3D Print page our system would have interpreted this differently.

I had the same problem with a design I’d produced from Mesh Lab. It was only maybe 10 or 15% smaller and the volume wasn’t appreciably less than Netfabb told me.

So selecting different dimensions in the tabs upon uploading should solve it right?

Basically, the cause is that the 3D Hubs system cannot detect what the dimensions are in which you modelled it. Therefore you need to tell the system by selecting the right tab.
