It has to! You can try uploading it at Online 3D Printing Service | Instant 3D Printing Quotes | Hubs, fill in the location, then contact one of the resulting Hubs in your area to see if they can help.

Congrats on your first .stl. What is it?

it is not possible in one piece but i could print it in multiple pieces and screw or glue them together.

and it is possible in one piece with a comercial printer like shapeways.com use it.

its a case for my banana pro that can fit an 3.5" hdd

how would u “cut” it in multiple pieces? i userd tinkercad to create the file i guess i cant “cut and paste” should i maybe use a female m3? or isnt it stable enough to print in?

I would use autocad and print it in 3 or 4 parts and add a grove to fit the middle one in. So i can print it easy and assamble it easy. I would use epoxy resin to glue it or some small wood screws. It is verry easy if you use the right tools. Your design wouldbe also verry easy to build out of thin metal. Lazer cut parts a little bending and some small welding dots.

I am willing to print this in one piece.

You can contact my hub for more information.

Best of luck

MfG, Marius Breuer

Hello,
This is challenging to print with an FDM printer because of the two unsupported “roofs”. If you don’t want it printed in multiple pieces I can print it with internal support that is dissolvable in water after printing. I specialize in challenging FDM prints and offer a large selection of engineering grade materials. Otherwise, if doesn’t have to be super strong you might want to look at a hub that does SLA printing. I’m currently building one but it wont be up and running for at least a week.
Let me know if I can help or if you have any other questions.
