Hey guys, If I take a 1kg spool (brand new) and I open it and cut a 20 meter section from the spool and put it in a plastic bag to ship the 20 meter section do I need a silica gel packet for moisture? It wouldn’t be exposed long, just for the cutting time? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
I think it would be a good idea. And, it may be more for customer peace-of-mind than any thing else. I am sure you can find those little “mini” ones. I get them in small rolls now. Maybe something along these lines -

yes because unless you vacumme seal it again it is exposed to the elemnst whether in a plastic bag or not and the silica will help regulate it
