Hello everyone,
Curious with connected objects? Wanna explore the possibilities of your 3D Printers with the Intel® technology?
We’re happy to announce that the Intel® IoT Roadshow is stopping by Munich on October 18-19th.
Intel® IoT Roadshow is a series of events to explore and create IoT projects with the Intel® Galileo development board (Galileo Intel development board). More precisely it’s a two-day event starting on Saturday morning with a training on IoT and the Intel® Galileo board and followed by a hackathon with a $5,000 prize pool to share among the 6 best projects.
Registrations are mandatory on the IoT Roadshow website. Obviously, there is going to be a lot more surprises but if we tell you everything then it’s not a surprise anymore
The 100 first registered that arrive at the event get an Intel® Galileo board!
We’ll update you through several newsletters in the following weeks, just make sure to bring your computer, great ideas and loads of energy to the event!
if you have any questions you can contact Jordane (jordane at bemyapp dot com) or Alex (alexandre at bemyapp dot com)

Hey @j_richter86, this looks like a cool event, thanks for sharing! But since Talk is a 3D printing community platform, it would be great if you could let our users know what are some direct benefits of using the Galileo development board. Maybe a killer use case for 3D Printing with?
Hey @gabriela3d some of the directs benefits : The Galileo Gen2 has an improved PWM (pulse-width modulation) control line, which will allow 3D printers and robots move more accurately. Galileo Gen2 also has Power over Ethernet capability, which is not available in the older version of the board.
I am sure there are plenty of possibilities
The event also includes a formation on the board by the Intel people !
Good to hear, @j_richter86! Let me know if you happen to come across an interesting case study, I’m sure our community will appreciate it. Cheers and good luck with the event.
