I just finished upgrading my ultimaker 2 to an ultimaker 2+ and now when I start the printer, the buildplate goes up and does not stop. It hits the nozzle and doesn’t stop unless I unplug it.

I try updating the firmware and putting the height smaller then normal (150 instead of 205mm) but it doesn’t seem to change anything.

How can I prevent this issue?

Maddie here from 3D Hubs.

I’m not personally familiar with the Ultimaker line, but it sounds like an endstop might be malfunctioning, causing the build plate to continue moving since it doesn’t “know” that it’s hit the limit.
