Hi my name is Jacob and I’m 16 and I’m making a 3d printer with a build volume of 17x25 inches I’m looking a little help printing out some of my part to complete it like both z axis and the x carriage I’ve spent about four months on it and it’s almost done but I’m on a budget and I can’t spend to much money.

What prints do you need done?

What kinds of plastic are you planning on printing?

What size of prints are you going to produce? Lots of little ones of one ginormous print?

I was basing it off of the reprap Mendel i3 but the z axis rods are the other way around like the threaded rod is In the front direction of the printer and it’ has a lot bigger build volume than that one witch only has a build volume of 8x8inch and mine is 17x25inch .the cad files I made were put next to the other ones from Mendel stl files on 123design
