I live in Portugal but i want to start my own process of recycling the wastes produced by 3D printing…Can anyone show me the best way to do it ?

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards.

Start by sorting the failed prints into individual boxes, so that PLA, ABS and other types don’t get mixed.

Reach out to the 3D Printers in your area stating that you wish to collect/recycle failed prints from them and will call back later in a few weeks/months.

You will need to grind/break down the failed prints so the machine producing the filament can melt it correctly.

Then build a filastruder http://www.filastruder.com/ There is an active forum Filastruder (Page 1) — SoliForum - 3D Printing Community

Hi, some cool stuff you should check.

Hi @galo,

We’re recycling plastic waste from developing company and turning it into high quality 3D print filament. If you want to get involved in recycling let me know at Jasper@reflowfilament.com
