Hello All, I am new to the community and 3D Printing. I wanted to do my part and share with you all my favorite adhesion spray of all time. I was soo impressed, I had to make this my first post because I have never seen anyone mention this particular spray. Even nicer- I can spray while my printer is heated and 45 seconds later can print – 1 layer only needed!!
So a little back story:
My girlfriend is one of those makeup hobbyist types and is really into styling Wigs. She bought this spray off Amazon and I was out of Aqua Net. This is a little pricey but IT ONLY TAKES 1 LAYER as it comes out nice and thick, plus dries very quickly
Application:
Shake Well, Spray 1 very quick spray layer from top to bottom and the result is I have a very thick layer.
Important Note: This stuff is a 1 layer solution and very impressive. I did a test where I sprayed on my glass bed an area only a little bigger than my test print. When I went to do a larger print, I thought, let me clean this up so I can do more. Damn stuff took a 3 Rags total soaked with Alcohol and about 10 passes to get it all off. I used under 1/8 of what I would use in hair spray! I seriously did only 1 pass, spray time max 3-5 seconds. No complaints though, just wanted to give the FYI there! It makes an excellent bond to the glass/borosilicate .

Extreme Test:
As a test, I did a single very quick extreme layer test while the printer was fully heated. For this test the print bed, was just a hair off (on purpose) to where 1 corner would not stick and would drag on a brim. I did a quick layer of spray, watched it dry on the glass and hit print. This print mind you failed on the Brim consistently 4 times in a row (did this on purpose though) with the rear right corner not sticking. With only a ~45 second dry, I printed my test part and brim, instantly perfect results! My jaw dropped so fast that all I could think was- Why haven’t I heard of this stuff in a forum?
This stuff is called:
Brand: Schwarzkopf
Line: “got2b”
item name: “glued blasting FREEZE SPRAY” (its typed just like that)
here is an Amazon link, local stores may have it as well like WalMart’s— I get nothing for this BTW

So far with 3D Printing, I have gotten really lucky, only 2 months in with a Monoprice Maker Select v2.1 that I received using points from this years work service award and I have already done a Melzi → RAMPS 1.4 conversion with 0 issue except I broke my heater cartridge ends off while also doing my MicroSwiss All Metal Hot End. I also replaced the Y Carriage with a heavier one, z braces, bearing swap, extruder gear change and a few other printed fans. Currently, I am working on adding BL Touch since it just came. My next move is to buy a kit printer with either a mixing or dual extruder with a large print bed but trying to figure out which still, no rush.
I love the forums and wanted to do my part to add to the community  I am a corporate IT Applications Developer by trade and I also enjoy playing the Bass Guitar. I have been having a lot of fun getting my hands dirty with code and printing alike. I hope you guys don’t mind me adding this new topic.
