would it it be possible to have opening time for the hubs, e.g, someone puts on order through to my hubs at 1am, however I am sleeping, the automated message tells them that I normally reply in 17 minutes, their expectation is that in 17 minutes time that the order will be accepted, I then wake up to multiple messages from the client as they think I am not looking at their order when I’m fact I accept it at 8am, the text messages don’t come into 8am and my phone is on silent overnight. Is there anyway to say to the customers, that the hub will reply in the next 24hours and normally in xx minutes during the hours of 8am to 8pm etc.

Hi Colin!

I’d suggest submitting a feature request to 3D Hubs! It would definitely be beneficial to specify hours, that way customers don’t have unrealistic expectations about when you’ll be responding and you don’t have to worry about it. Seems like a win-win for everyone in my opinion!

You can do this by submitting a talk post and tagging it with /Feature and/or /How to Hub and see how the community responds.

this has been discussed already a few times, even with the guys from 3DHubs taking part in the discussion. They seem to understand our griefs/irritations/issues with it, but we’ve yet to see a solution.

Because it is not implemented, you should have it stated clearly on your Hub, like I do with pickup times. Its best practice to clearly state some of the ways you operate. It will reduce your chances on running into problems like these in the future.

Other commenters make good suggestions (e.g. mention it in your hub description) but I would expect most people to understand what “business hours” are already. In America, business hours tend to be normally from 9 AM to 5 PM. Someone in America submitting a design at 1 AM should know better than to expect a response in 17 minutes! :slight_smile:
