Hello everyone,

I own a small hub, but recently I’ve been getting quite busy 3D printing, so I started thinking how to promote my hub a bit more effectively.

One of my customers asked me to send him my business card and I realized that I don’t have any!

Has anyone printed a business card for their hub? Can you please share some photos so I can get some ideas?
Also does anyone know if it is possible to include design elements from this site, such as the 3D Hubs logo, to my business card?

Hi @bv_alkaios, apologies for the late reply. To answer your question: we usually encourage Hubs to add their Hub swag (stickers etc) when delivering prints, so that customers that are satisfied with their service can easily track them for their next print. Exchanging business cards most of the times means going around the platform, so whenever we spot this type of requests, we usually use this canned response:

'Hi guys,

Allow me to quickly check-in with a short note.

Please be advised that 3D Hubs can only exist by successfully connecting customers and Hubs through the platform. By taking customers that previously came in through 3D Hubs around the platform for future orders, we cannot maintain our business in the long run.

Our system is based on trust and fair contribution so it would be much appreciated if all transactions remain on 3D Hubs.

Thank you for your reply. First of all, I never intended to take business outside 3Dhubs. If I proceed with the creation of a card, this include a link to my hub for sure.

When you say “Hub swag” what exactly do you mean? What kind of PR material can we recycle and incorporate in them? (e.g. can I use the 3D hubs logo on my sticker?)
