Ok, I’m completely new with this so please forgive the extensive noobness. I’ve tried to look on the internet but I can’t find an anwser. So I got my wanhao dupli3 and I’ve got everything set. But when I try to put a file on my (newly bought 64 gb sd card) it won’t save. Obviously I’m doing something wrong. How do I save a file on the card?

Just copy and paste… or save to the card ( I’m using Cura ), if you can copy any other file to the card using your OS, then the card is fine. If you can read the card with the printer, then the printer can handle it. If some of those thing don’t work, then you must try some other card of try formating it again.

Unless they have changed something in the firmware, 32Gig was the max with the Repetier firmware. 64Gig cards are SDXC (extended capacity) and again, to the best of my knowledge, will not work with the i3. Do you have a smaller capacity SD card you can try?

Try formatting the card as a FAT32 file system.

Many of these printers will not except any files that are in folders. And yes, use the FAT32 filesystem. I was having a problem because I had a 64gb card that was formatted with an exFAT system and I have to reformat it with the FAT32 system.
