I was wondering what people who are on the 3dhubs do if a client needs to have their model altered for one reason or the other. My hubs client had a model that needed a couple of hours of work on the model to get it to print right and it was just easier for me to do it. Best!
I believe, once you receive an order, if you need to carry out some additional tasks such as CAD modeling, finishing etc. there is a way to add those service charges on your order’s page.

Some hubs charge extra some do free modeling to get the part printable some (myself included) do a certain amount of free modeling some don’t do any modeling and just print. It depends on the hub.
If it are really small alternations than I will do them for free.
Else I would make him an offer of the costs / working hours and he can accept or decline,
And also I tell him what the consequences are for the printing time, in terms of the print can be finished within the spoken time or because of the alternations it will take longer.
I don’t know if you can add them on the services when you already have accepted the print.
But else I would send/give him a invoice for the moddeling work when the 3D printing is finished so he can paid that directly.
